False Kiva in Canyon Lands Utah
I drove a long way out of my way to get this shot. Met up with a friend and hiked along a cliff at night to get here also. It was an experience that will never be forgotten. I would not suggest it to anyone else.

A once in a lifetime capture for me. This is from a series I will be working on for the next few years titled The Traveler. This night I just happened to capture the lights from a small town on the left, the white light is from lightning, and the green light is from the northern lights.
The day after an ice storm the temperature warmed and the ice began to melt. I tend to stand an look at an area for a while before I shoot it. That is when I noticed the refraction of the barn in the drops. Timing was difficult but with a bit of persistence I was able to get the shot.
Stumbled upon an aurora display while out shooting the Milky Way at Heyburn state park. Sometimes while I am out shooting I just have to stop in awe at the beauty that is put before us.
Not a good day to forget your water.
This is not the safest place to be in the dark. The edge of a 300 foot cliff but if you want the shot. This is a 4 minute exposure.
